Polycerids which possess rhinophore sheaths, simple in some species, but complex, lobed and massive in others. The frontal margin of the body is devoid of pallial tubercles, but one or more prominent tubercles on either side flank the branchial circlet. Laterally, just below each rhinophore base, is a deep pit, the floor of which may be folded into lamellae. Radula 2-5.2.0.2.2-5. Jaws exhibit a prominent wing-like process.
