Body either uniformly cylindrical or with a distinctly narrower, tail-like posterior region. Always with two, sickle-like radula teeth placed on tip of the basal plate, sometimes by means of a proximal symphyse. The foot-shield is homogeneous and may entirely surround the mouth. The digestive midgut gland may be short or long.
