Genus Geitodoris

Bergh, 1891

Discodorids which have a tuberculate, spiculose, dorsal mantle, granular in appearance. Low, smooth rhinophore sheaths and flap-like valves around the branchial pocket are sometimes present.
The penis is unarmed. The oral cuticle usually exhibits microscopic substructure which is ridged or resembles a honeycomb. Radula n .0.n , all the teeth smoothly hooked, but the marginals are sometimes denticulated.
