Genus Microhedyle

Hertling, 1930

Needle-like or stellate spicules present in the skin, but absent in the oral tentacles. Head with rhinophores (M. glandulifera ) or lacking rhinophores (M. milaschewitchii ). Large epidermal glands are conspicuous in the dorsal integument.
