Shell a shallow, smooth cone with apex towards anterior margin. Foot oval or slightly rectangular, no epipodial tentacles or operculum. Nuchal cavity behind head with single prominent ctenidium, protruding beyond shell margin in active animals; pallial gills absent. Animal firmly attached to hard substrata.
