External shell able to accommodate the animal during defensive retraction.
Cephalic shield produced to form antero-lateral tentacular processes; lateral wing-like propodial tentacular lobes present. External posterior pallial lobe inconspicuous. Metapodium forked.
The radula formula is 1. 1. 1, the median tooth denticulate.
