Shell small, cap-shaped or conical, with or without a spirally whorled apical protoconch; sculpture finely reticulate. No operculum. Foot oval or shield-shaped, tapering towards rear. Mantle cavity a shallow groove around base of foot, deepening to nuchal cavity behind head. Cephalic tentacles without pigmented eyes at base, ctenidia and pallial gills absent. Animals sublittoral, attached to stones.
