Shell very small (less than 2 mm), transparent and smooth; short, tumid, and conical, or globular. Umbilicus a shallow chink, or deep and round; operculum with peg-like process articulating with columella. Snout bifid, cephalic tentacles single or bifid. Foot with posterior mucus gland connected by groove to posterior margin of foot. Transparency reveals distinctive dark spots on mantle.
