Colpodaspis pusillus

Description (shell):
Shell internal but obvious; large, bubble-like, completely covered by mantle.

Size:
Shell up to 3.2 mm long, total length including mantle up to 5 mm.

Animal:
Body white with opaque white speckling extending beyond mantle edge and shell at both ends. The posterior lobe is an extension of the mantle, not the foot: the foot is completely hidden, Y-shaped, with the propodium bilobed.

Habitat:
Can be found offshore among hydroids and erect bryozoans.

Distribution:
It is widely distributed in the northern part of the North Sea (Distr. C. pusillus).
