Description:
Fusiform, slender shell, comprising three whorls and the protoconch. Surface is smooth and rather shiny, with some very fine striations on abapical part of the last whorl. The aperture is elongate, thickened; columellar tooth is variably developed; umbilicus is large.
Size:
Up to 3.4 mm.
Colour:
White.
Habitat:
An obligate parasite of the sipunculid Phascolion strombi .
Distribution:
Reported from scattered localities around the British Isles (Distr. O. diaphana).
