Philine angulata

Description (shell):
Tiny shells (up to 3 mm long) which have the posterior margin of the outer lip produced to form a sharp point.

Animal:
This is a dubious species and its appearance in life is unknown (P. angulata-animal).

Distribution:
Distributed from Norway to the Mediterranean Sea and from north east America, to 160 m depth (Distr. P. angulata).
