Description (shell):
Like Thyasira flexuosa , but with rounded anterior and posterior margins (T. sarsi-photo).
Size:
Up to 20 mm.
Animal:
The thickened margin of the mantle is open all round and not prolonged into siphons. The long slender foot is almost cylindrical.
Distribution:
Arctic species, from Nova Zembla to the Oslofjord (Distr. T. sarsi).
