Cnidosacs are lacking and are replaced by terminal pads of nematocysts (up to 4 pads on each ceras). Smooth rhinophores are present but the oral tentacles are represented only by a dilated, bilobed oral veil; propodial tentacles are absent.
Jaws are present and exhibit a toothed cutting edge. The uniseriate radula consists of arched teeth which have a prominent median cusp and numerous lateral denticles.
