Genus Ancula

Lovén, 1846

Goniodorids having a slender body; the mantle ridge indetectable except for a series of elongated pallial papillae on either side of the gill circlet; similar papillae arise from the bases of the rhinophores and project forwards; oral veil bearing a pair of tiny tentacles; buccal pump stout, sessile, not pedunculate; radula 1.1.1.1.1, the first lateral teeth denticulate, the marginals smooth.
