Genus Limapontia

Johnston, 1835

Shell absent. Small sacoglossans, less than 10 mm in extended length, lacking dorsal papillae or parapodial lobes; colour usually dark. Cephalic tentacles often absent or inconspicuous. Digestive gland not much divided, consisting of two antero-lateral and two postero-lateral lobes.
The anal opening is median, dorsal. The radula teeth lack fine denticulations. The penis is armed with a spine, sometimes bearing sub-terminal denticles or hooks.
